Snack On the Fly

MATERIALS

  • Clothes pegs
  • Kokis
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Googly eyes
  • Non-toxic school glue
  • 2 bite-sized snack foods

Directions

  • 1 Fill a Ziploc® brand snack bag with your two favourite snacks, keeping them separate, and close using the Smart Zip Plus® seal.
  • 2 Pinch the centre of the Ziploc® brand snack bags and secure with a clothes peg. 
  • 3 Glue googly eyes onto the clothes peg. Spiral a pipe cleaner into an antenna shape and clip under the clothes peg. Let your kids join in and add any other decoration they can imagine!

Zippy Fishies

  • Clothes pegs
  • Googly eyes
  • Construction paper
  • Non-toxic school glue
  • Scissors
  • Bite-sized snack food

DIRECTION

  • 1 Fill a Ziploc® brand sandwich bag ¾ full with your favourite snack and seal top closed using the Smart Zip Plus® seal.
  • 2 Twist the top of the Ziploc® brand sandwich bags and secure with a clothes peg “hook.”
  • 3 Cut fins and a mouth out of construction paper, glue in place and add a googly eye.

Pocket Panda

Materials

  • Ziploc® brand sandwich bags
  • Elastic band
  • Non-toxic school glue
  • Scissors
  • Bite-sized snack food

Directions

  • 1 Fill a Ziploc® brand sandwich bag ¾ full with your favourite snack and seal top closed using the Smart Zip Plus® seal.
  • 2 Twist the top of the Ziploc® brand sandwich bag and secure with an elastic band.
  • 3 Print our Pocket Panda template and cut out the shapes, or cut the simple shapes out of construction paper.
  • 4 Glue the feet, arms, eyes, nose and mouth in place. Add the ears over the corners of the bag to bring the Pocket Panda to life!
